Know Your Volunteer
Volunteer Tom Aranow Tom is instrumental to the Conservancy’s fire training program. As the lead instructor for basic burn crew training, he teaches the basics of working on the fire line safely and efficiently.
Volunteer Shirley Griffin Shirley Griffin, volunteer extraordinaire in Door County, is willing to roll up her sleeves and “help with any task, whether menial or momentous.” She has become a valuable asset, lending her knowledge, skill and energy to outdoor field work endeavors.
Volunteer Gary Rubin Gary Rubin has given extensively of his time to care for the Conservancy’s preserves in the Baraboo Hills. He was involved in the original cleanup of the sites, and continues to work towards restoring these areas to a natural state. More Volunteer Profiles |
