Please keep in mind that we have the following policies on our preserves:
-
Keep your pets at home; other visitors and the native wildlife will appreciate it.
-
Please - no camping, fires, or ATV's on preserves.
-
Rattlesnakes and Copperheads make their home on many of our preserves, please pay them respect.
-
Many of our preserves have open cliffs with dangerous drops and steep hiking trails, please know your own limits.
-
Deer and turkey hunting are a community tradition in rural West Virginia. Hunting takes place near most of our preserves in the fall. Please use caution, wear bright colors and make your presence known during this time.
