It is up to the next generation to make conservation a way of life.

- Scott Way, Gen C Steering Committee, Austin, Texas

Generation Conservation (Gen C) is an initiative comprised of those interested in learning about the mission and work of The Nature Conservancy through evening receptions, family-friendly parties and outings around Texas.

Gen C members are a pivotal component of our work to protect land and water for future generations of Texans. They are committed to sharing the positive messages of conservation and fostering understanding and respect for the world's plants, animal and natural communities.

Participation in Gen C offers many exclusive benefits, including the opportunity to collaborate and network with like-minded people in conservation-themed pursuits such as: informative lectures and receptions, private field trips, guided hikes, and wildlife-watching expeditions at some of the most beautiful and pristine places in Texas.

The Nature Conservancy maintains 35 preserves and 70 conservation projects around the state, from the ancient longleaf pine stands of East Texas, through the coastal plains of the Gulf of Mexico, across the striking Davis Mountains of far West Texas. With our partners, we have protected nearly one million acres of land and water in Texas.

Gen C is open to any existing or future member of The Nature Conservancy under 50.
