Overview:
Early morning birdwatchers will search for overwintering waterfowl on surrounding bays, Mashomack's ponds and creeks, then return to a hearty breakfast by a roaring fire in the Manor House. These protected waters of the Peconic system provide crucial habitat to many species of ducks and other hardy winter visitors. Bring binoculars.

Registration/Fee:
Reservations taken beginning November 1, 2008.  All programs require pre-registration. Call the Mashomack Preserve office at  (631) 749-1001  for reservations, meeting place, and further information.

This special event is $15 for guided walk and breakfast. Limited number of Saturday overnight accommodations available for Conservancy members ($60/person for room, walk, and breakfast).
