A 427-acre preserve in Pittsburg containing a bog, some rare plant species and the only remaining lowland virgin spruce/fir forest in New Hampshire.

Directions:
From Colebrook take Route 145 North to Pittsburg Village and pick up Route 3 North and proceed on to Second Connecticut lake (from Pittsburg the distance is 10+ miles, from Colebrook is 43 miles). Take a right onto East Inlet Road (you’ll cross the Connecticut River and East Inlet Stream) and travel 2.8 miles east from the East Inlet Dam. Parking is suggested where the road bend. The should place you at the southwest edge of the natural area.
