4th Annual Great Bay Bird Walk

8am - 12pm (meet at 7:45am for an 8am departure).

Overview:
Join us at TNC's Lubberland Creek Preserve in Newmarket as coastal bird expert Steve Mirick once again educates us on the migrating and nesting birds that call Great Bay home.  Please RSVP at your earliest convenienve for this very popular field trip.

How to Prepare for the Walk:
Bring binoculars, shoes appropriate for hiking trails and a field guide if you'd like.

Registration/Fee:
This hike is free for Nature Conservancy members as well as for non-members. Reservations are required. To RSVP, please contact Megan Lepage at mlepage@tnc.org or 603.224.5853, x 23.

Meeting Location:
The Nature Conservancy's Great Bay Office
112 Bay Road, Newmarket

Directions:

  • From Route 108 in Durham or Newmarket: turn onto the loop road known as Durham Point Road (from the north end in Durham) or Bay Road (from the south end in Newmarket).
  • The Great Bay Office is 6.5 miles from the north end of this road, or 1.2 miles from the south end.
