June 01, 2008: Five Great Lakes, Two Countries, One Chance
On June 1-2, the leadership of The Nature Conservancy will convene at the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. There, the Boards of Trustees and leadership of the eight Great Lake states will join the Conservancy's Executive Leadership Team and representatives from Canada for an educational forum on Great Lakes conservation – a project priority within the Conservancy's Campaign for a Sustainable Planet.

September 25, 2008: MICHIGAN: Our Land, Our Water, Our Heritage
The engaging essays in this book illustrate the range of ecosystems that The Nature Conservancy has protected. Included are essays by nine acclaimed Michigan authors; numerous quotes from leading figures in Michigan; and full-color photographs by well-known Michigan photographers of the land, water, and shorelines of the Great Lakes state.

October 16, 2008: Partner Event: Land Conservancy of West Michigan Korth Lecture
The Nature Conservancy is partnering with the Land Conservancy of West Michigan to support their Korth Conservation Series, an annual event created to raise awareness and interest in important land use topics.
