(To donate, please contact Kristin Bramell.)
Chesapeake Bay: Legendary for its marine life, no other estuary in North America rivals the Chesapeake Bay’s productivity. The Conservancy joins a number of active partners working to safeguard high quality lands and waters and restore degraded habitats.
Nassawango Creek: More than 9,300 acres of majestic bald cypress swamps and upland forest have been protected along Nassawango Creek, a major tributary to the Chesapeake Bay.
Nanjemoy Creek: Home to great blue herons, migratory songbirds and the globally rare dwarf wedge mussel, Nanjemoy Creek and its surrounding intact forest areas along the Potomac River make this site a high priority.
Nanticoke River: In the heart of the Delmarva Peninsula, this watershed mixes freshwater from the river with saltwater from the ocean, creating tidal and freshwater wetlands that teem with life.
